2023 | Year in Review

Another full year has passed. Another year of growth and reflection.

I wanted to reflect on a massive turning point in my career in 2023, that I thought was fairly monumental in my growth as a photographer, graphic designer and overall creative in the Motorsports industry.

Teams and Drivers:
The teams who have pushed me to be creative and step outside the box, give limited-to-no input, and overall want professional quality work - Thank you. Your continued support means the world to me. I m blessed to be able to create graphics that are unique to each of you throughout the season and I can’t wait to continue partnerships that were formed.

Various Series:
I am so thankful for each of you that I got to work with, World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series, All Star Circuit of Champions, and High Limit Racing Series. I look forward to continuing to capture photos and images in the future, to continuously represent the sport, and product that each has put on display for fans enjoyment and coverage.

Fans:
Thank you. Without the shares, the comments, the retweets, all of it - I would not have the ability to share, create, influence, educate, and travel to chase my dreams. It does not go unnoticed, and I’m truly thankful for all of your support and kind words.

Dirt Empire Magazine:
Thank you for welcoming me in with open arms, and seeing my potential as a photographer in this industry. To be published is one thing every photographer dreams of and I’ve gotten to be published before, but allowing me to share my experiences also in the industry, has been incredible! I am blessed, and always grateful.

I wanted to share my year in review, a memory for myself to look back on, in time. My experiences are truly what has gotten me here today, and I wish I would have started keeping track of my adventures, and successes, a long ago.

Travel:
I got to attend several races, new tracks, big and historic events, and work with teams and series I never had before:

  • Took on my first complete season as Creative Director for Dylan Norris.

  • Photographed at Volusia Speedway Park and visited East Bay Speedway Park, in Florida.

  • Stepped foot in: Daytona Beach, Ormond Beach, Tampa Bay, Clearwater Beach, Siesta Key Beach, Longboat Key, St. Pete Beach, Anna Maria Island.

  • Photographed some of the final All Star Circuit of Champions races as a active traveling series or existence.

  • Designed over 250 race day graphics in the total season across 5 teams.

  • Worked with well over 15 different drivers/teams in 2023 on various projects.

  • Mentored several photographers at the track operate their cameras.

  • Hosted multiple phones calls with photographers on advice to get their feet wet within the industry.

  • Featured in Dirt Empire Magazine, as their “Shooter at Large” in Issue 19 (PRI Show issue), featuring 10 of my best images.

  • Had multiple press releases utilizing my photography; FullyInjected.com, FloRacing.com, and A2dpr.com.

  • Designed several new logos for businesses, brands, series, teams, and drivers over the 2023 fiscal year.

  • Booked my first wedding to photograph in over 6 years, since the last wedding.

  • Photographed outside the Motorsports industry: Engagements and Families

  • Credentialed to the PRI Show, as media, under my own business.

  • Joined RSR - Ridge & Sons Racing team as their Director of Social Media and Content Creation for end of 2023 and 2024 seasons.

Here below are some of my favorite images and projects that I’ve worked on within the 2023 racing season, from various different tracks across the Mid-west and East Coast. I am heavily involved, not just on the weekends in the racing industry, and this has been one of the busiest off seasons I’ve faced to date. I am so thankful for everyone that I have gotten to work with in 2023.

I am very excited for how 2024 season is shaping and hoping to get to a few tracks I have not been to yet. More than likely, I will be splitting time between the World of Outlaws, High Limit Racing series, and local Pennsylvania racing scene. I will be releasing a tentative schedule in the near future.

If you are in need of race day graphics, social media management, hero cards/autograph cards, photography, video promotion, please let me know. I am actively pursuing and will have a full workload, and would like to narrow down plans coming up for the upcoming 2024 season.
