Not a Press Release.

Vemeer Motorsports announced Wednesday that it would be parting ways with long time driver, Hunter Schuerenberg.
The pair competed in the All Star Circuit of Champions in recent years. Schuerenberg is currently third in All Star Sprint series points standings and the move comes as quite a surprise.

Vermeer Motorsports’ statement can be seen below:

The move comes at a difficult time for both the team and driver, as the All Star Circuit of Champions begin Ohio Speedweek in less than 48 hours from this announcement and World of Outlaws visit Knoxville Raceway this week and will race at Huset’s Speedway for a $250,000-to-win event in two weeks up North.

Hunter Schuerenberg’s statement, below (Facebook):
”Parting ways with Vermeer Motorsports mid season wasn’t how we planned 2023 would go, but my family and I are grateful for Tony’s partnership the last 3 1/2 years as we worked relentlessly to evolve the 55 team into the competitive state it has now reached.

I especially want to thank my family, friends, sponsors, and fans that have supported me on and off the track throughout my time with the Vermeer 55 team.

I’m eager to see what God’s plan will bring as the next step from here.”

Hunter Schuerenberg / Vermeer Motorsports’ 2023 season to date (June 6th, 2023) - 1 win, 4 top 5’s, 7 top 10’s out of 13 total ASCOC races.
